We're getting old . . . in more ways than one

My fabulous husband turned 32 years old on Monday . . .

. . . but he's still pretty enthusiastic about blowing out all those candles for an old-timer. (Or is that fear?)

And although I'm four years younger, apparently I am getting older faster, or at least my brain is.

Yesterday I took out our eggs to hard-boil half a dozen. After I took the ones I needed, I couldn't find the egg carton anywhere. I looked all over the kitchen, Clara's room, the sun room (office), the living room, and then finally found them in the pan cupboard.

Duh. I should have checked there first.

  1. I do this all the time! The other day I put Angie's toothbrush in the kitchen sink, on top of all the dirty dishes. When Conrad asked why it was there, I couldn't even remember putting it there!
